'every day is a journal page'

When my sisters and I were small, being allowed to drink tea was the epitome of grown-up-ness. Drinking tea was what all grown-ups did, and the morning was only made bearable when it was faced after a fortifying cup of tea. We heard grown-ups say things like, "Is the kettle on?" and the tea phenomenon was strengthened. How devastating, then, to discover, now we are grown up, that we don't like it? Can we grow up w/o tea?
